Milgard Window Part

A home owner from Edmonds, WA says:
I purchased two balancers from you, S385-33, option 3240, and installed them. Now I find that a small plastic piece on the window that engages the top of the balancer is broken. These are photos of the unbroken piece. Do you have this plastic piece?

Hello,

Thanks for posting! I suggest you use the 18-009 top sash guide and trim the three thin plastic edges at the top of the guide where it protrudes past the main body. In our experience, this was a fairly straightforward alteration and has worked for Milgard non-tilt windows in the past. Take a look and see what you think.
