Milgard Windows

Question

We built our house in 2007 and had Milgard windows installed. They are single-hung windows and many of them no longer stay open. I have three different sizes (vertically) that I need to fix. I've attached pictures. In one of the photos I see the following marking on the window:

The sizes of the three tracks I need to replace at 32, 26, and 10.

I have 6 of the 32" windows (so I would need a total of 12 tracks.
I have 4 of the 26" windows
I have 2 of the 10" windows

Hey there,

Thanks for writing in! I am confident that we can supply you with the balances you need. However, they are Extended-Travel Balances so they will need to be custom/special order balances.

To get started, there are just a few pieces of information I'll need to gather to confirm pricing and availability for your balances. I'll need to see a photo of the side profile of the bottom of the balance. This is the see exactly how the shoe and pulley system are attached to the balance.

You'll also need to confirm the stamps/markings from the metal channels of each of these balances. The stamp is what indicates the weight range your balances should be able to carry to support the weight of the sash.

Keep in mind, custom orders are non-refundable and non-returnable, so it is extremely important to confirm these details.

Once I have this information, I'll be able to confirm pricing and availability and get the link sent over so that you can purchase your balances.
