Milgard Windows Caldwell Balancer

A quick learner from Novato California says:

Using you guide I've figured out I have:

Milgard non tilt windows from about 1994

Channel with: 9/16 so 1/2

Length: 33"

Series: 385

Balance Shoe: 15-004 (about 1 1/8" depth)

My Caldwell Balancers states "32 3 IO" stamped on top. So what weight class is my window?

Thanks

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Thanks for posting. If your balance is 33" long, and if the nylon attachments match the fittings of the Series 385, then yes, you have an S385-33. The stamp code 32 3 conforms to our stamp option of 3230. This is for a window sash in the weight range of 18 through 23 lbs. If you want to double check this is right, weigh your window sash and see if it falls in this weight range.
