Milgard alum. window vinyl glazing bead

A quick learner from Gresham, OR says:
I am seeking lengths of vinyl glazing bead for older Milgard alum. windows. Picture "a" is an end view of the original glazing bead. Picture "b" is a postit note sketch of the bead's dimensions. 15mm wide outside face, 13mm wide side face that snaps into window frame, and snap-in lip 4mm down from the V center.

I found (barely legible and might be off a bit) this stamped on the alum. window frame: SEP 1990 2MG 5ALI CBA

My replacement glass window contractor does not have this glazing bead in stock, and I suspect doesn't know where to procure it. They have glazing bead, but if the "lip" is not far enough down (the full 4mm) that inside edge, the snapping-in thing does not happen.

We came up with two possible snap-in glazing beads that you might be able to use for your Milgard window.

Our 55-019 looks different, but works on the same principle, with the small locking tooth. Across the top, it's short of yours, 7/16", but the locking flap is 1/8" and the leg that goes behind the glass is 1/2".

The exposed top of 55-080 is 5/8" and the locking tooth matches yours, but the back leg is 13/16", so you might have to cut it down.

Do you think either of these can work for you?
A quick learner from Gresham, OR says:
Paul, Thanks so much for taking the time to analyze this. I believe 55-080 (with the back leg being cut narrower than 13/16, looks extremely promising! The fact that the "locking tooth" (now I know the correct term!) is the same 3/16 offset from the front edge is, in my very limited knowledge, the key to glazing bead happiness.

I currently have an order in at a local shop but, if what they've ordered does not measure up, I will be back to Swisco to purchase some lengths of 55-080.
Thanks again
