I need to replace my milgard balancer and get a replacement one. The text on the top says " 14 4 KP Caldwelll"

Thanks for posting. Could you give us clearer pictures of the end attachments? I can't quite see them in this photo. It also appears one of the wings on the top nylon attachment is damaged; is there an undamaged version of this balance you could show us? We're close, but identifying the end attachments is key to getting you the correct balance. Thanks!

The images are taken with a longer spare I have. Should be the same.

Thanks for these extra photos. See either our Series 380 or Series 385 Channel Balances. The only difference between these two Series is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. With the Series 380 the depth of this nylon shoe is 1", whereas with the Series 385 it is 1-3/32". Compare with your own and see what is best.

You will need to measure the length of the metal channel, not including the nylon attachments, to determine the balance length you must select. This is likely 15", but it is best to confirm this to be safe. Your stamp number of 14 4 conforms to our stamp option of 1440, for a window sash weight range of 12 through 13 lbs. Let us know if you have any questions.
