Here's a photo of the balance we are trying to replace. Any clue what lines up on the Swisco catalog? We need two different lengths. 27" and 29" but with the same footings. I'm confused by the 29-5 rating. The window itself weighs only about 10 lb so is it possible it's a 5 lb rating?

Hello there! Thanks for reaching out to us. We can help with this via custom order. However, the metal channel should measure 30" long. Can you confirm that for us? We will also need to know the stamp for the 27" balance.
As for the stamp, the number 5 doesn't mean the balance is calibrated for a 5-pound sash. This stamp is calibrated for a specific weight range but we must confirm the length of the metal channel first.

The actual lengths are 28" and 30" respectively for the 27 and 29 stamped balances.

Thank you! I see the 30" balance is tamped 29-5 but I'm still not sure of the 28" balance's stamp. Once I know that, I can get the ball rolling on this order.

Don't worry about the 28" stamp. I don't want to have to pull it from the tenant's window. If you could let me know what the model match up is, I can go ahead and place the order. Thanks.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to move forward without that stamp. This type of balance isn't a stock option that we sell so we would have to order them out which is why this is a custom order. We must know the stamp to get the ball rolling.

Please note that the replacements will look different than what you have now. It's a different style but we're confident they will work.
