Milgard door latch

Quick Learner from San Diego
Hi need a replacement milgard door latch. The one I've tried ordering is offset differently and won't fit the door handle unfortunately. The shaft is totally fine just the handle is offset differently. Do you have something like the two photos I sent? Thanks

Thank you for reaching out to us. We sell the 82-240 but this looks like the one you bought that didn't fit. I'm afraid this would be our best option though.

If you decided to replace the handle set, show us some pictures of your hardware and we can work from there.

OK thanks, a new handle set is a good option. The holes are 5 inches apart. What do you have that works with the 82 240 latch? See photos of my existing interior handle (exterior handle has the key cylinder). If you have just the interior handle set with holes 5 inches apart, should be good to go. Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me! I recommend you have a look at our 82-080 or 82-081 depending on if you wanted keyed access or not. They measure 4-15/16" on installation hole centers so you may want to double-check yours just to be safe. Review the specifications and let me know if you have any questions!

Ok thanks. Yes we need a keyed handle, so I guess 82 -8021 is the way to go.
