Milgard non tilt window top sash guide

Question

I believe I need a 27" series 385. However the guide attached to the side of the window sash is hard to figure out which one I need. Also, I'm assuming I'll need a 2640 option as my window sash is 19lbs 4oz?? I just don't want the window too difficult to close and 19lbs is right on the cusp of two stamp options..

Thanks for reaching out to us! Your top sash guide appears to be the old Milgard model. To my knowledge it's not made anymore, but you should be able to use our 18-009 as an alternative. The only catch is that ours has a somewhat extended trim at the top, which you will need to trim down so that it will fit.

Look over our dimensions to verify that they all line up, ignoring that trim. If so then that would be my top suggestion.

As for your stamp option, if your sash is 19.4 pounds then 2640 is what you want, yes. That also matches your old stamp of "26 4."
