Milgard single hung window balancer

Hi,

Would you please help me identify the right replacement balance for my Milgard single hung window? Please see the pictures of the old balance, measured 27" channel portion. The sash measures 29" x 33.5", and the slot is about 1 1/4". Install time was 2002. I'm not sure about the weight of the sash, but the marking is in the pictures.

Hello, thanks for posting! It looks like you could have either our S380-27 or S385-27 with the 2640 stamp option. The difference between the Series 380 and the Series 385 lies in the depth of the shoe. Take a look at the picture below for more detail. Once you have determined this dimension you should be able to select the appropriate balance.
