Milgard window balancer replacement

The string in my Milgard window broke. From my online research the replacement would be a balancer replacement, block and tackle style. On the metal is stamped this information: 26 4 ew cmc 10. We open the window frequently during the summer months so I suspect I should replace both of the balancers at the same time. I was exploring on your site and was not certain I was finding the correct replacement model. I need some help to select the right model. I could only upload 5 photos but I have one more photo of the end of the balancer. I can email it to you if needed.

These window balances can be replaced with either the S380-27 or the S385-27 Channel Balance. To confirm the correct series, you'll need to measure the depth of the shoe.

Our 2640 stamp option will support a sash weighing 19 to 26lbs. You may want to double check that your sash falls between this weight range.

It would be encouraged to replace both balances at the same time, so that the older one does not wear out the newer balance or cause it to become damaged.
