Milgard window not closing fully

Home Owner from Santa Monica, Ca
Hi! The window in question was installed in 2006 - 2007. It won't close fully, leaving a .5 inch gap at the open side. Manually cranking doesn't help. If I pull on the frame by hand then I can close the window shut and the hand crank still doesn't budge. It seems to me I may need to replace the crank mechanism. Based on the pictures I uploaded, do you sell anything that fits what I currently have? Thank you! Dan

Hi Dan,

Thanks for your post! It sounds like your window operator might be stripped. It is a match for the 39-091 ROTO Casement Operator. I'm confident this should be the replacement you need but be sure to look over the dimensions.

You'll need to reuse the link arm for the installation.

If the operator is in good working condition, then the next thing to examine will be the window hinge. Yours reminds me of the 36-031 Pivot Hinge Set. This set can be used to replace top and bottom hinges, for right and left handed applications.
