Milgard windows - need to know Balancer

Thanks for posting. See either our Series 380 or Series 385 Channel Balances. The only difference between these two Series is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. With the Series 380 the depth of this nylon shoe is 1", whereas with the Series 385 it is 1-3/32". Compare with your own and see what is best.

Once you know what balance Series you have, you will need to select the right length. Measure the metal channel, not including the nylon attachments, to obtain this measurement. Then you must select a stamp option. Look for a stamped number on the balance's metal channel--it should conform to one of the stamp options listed on the product page. If you are uncertain of this, weigh your window sash, and you can match that precise weight with one of the weight ranges listed for each stamp option on the product page.
