Milgard balancer identified as 26 6 JU CMC 2. Metal part of the balance measures 27 inches. With plastic pieces, it measures 28 inches

The plastic attachments suggest a Series 380 or Series 385 channel balance. You'd need to measure the depth of the bottom shoe as shown below to choose which of the two you need. Then, measure the metal bar by itself. Sounds like it's 27", which makes sense for a "26 6" code. That corresponds to the S380-27 or S385-27 balance.
The final step is to choose a weight option. It's possible that your "26 6" is equivalent to our "2660" option, for window sashes between 30 and 33 pounds. Weigh your window sash to be sure that your sash falls within this range.
