code on unit 24 Caldwell; metal 20 inches long; unit is 1/2 inch wide; bottom attachment is 1-3/32 inch; no bottom roller fitting; weight approximately 18 - 20 lbs.

Thanks for writing in! We can certainly supply the replacement balances you need for your Milgard window, Caldwell balances. Although, to identify the correct match, I'll need to see a clearer photo of the spring side of the channel.

I'm particularly looking to see a photo of the bracket connecting the string and the spring in the middle of the balance.

Thank you for your reply. I am attaching more photos for your review. Please note, the metal is 21 inches ( I previously told you it was 20 inches ).

Hi Johnny,

Thanks for confirming. You'll need the S385-21 to replace your balances. The 2040 stamp will support a sash weighing between 15 to 23lbs. Given that you've confirmed an approximate weight, you may want to double check but it should be okay.
