Recommended door thickness for the 82-002 and 82-002k

What is the minimum door thickness for this lock? I bought a similar one only to find out my door was too thin. Most doors are 1" thick or thicker, mine is only about 7/8" or 2cm thick.

This is a very important question, so I'm glad that you asked. Our 82-002K, with key cylinder, is made to fit a door thickness of 1". The 82-002 can fit on slightly smaller doors at around 7/8" since it doesn't have a key lock.
