Mirrored Bifold Door Pull

Question

24 year old home. Mirrored bypass doors. Each door had a flat piece of metal (1/2 inch x 3 inches) apparently glued to the metal frame half way up the door in the middle fold. That flat piece of metal also had a piece of metal that, when the door was closed, protruded out a little bit and THAT was how the doors were opened. Those metal pieces are gone when we moved in. Have any replacement, or a solution? Thank you.
