Missing hook for latch to lock

Question

Hi,

I just moved into a condo and recently discovered the piece where the latch should hook into is missing. Pic where there is 4 screw holes. The label on the jamb says SGD-LC25-96x96 AND SGD-C30-96x82. If you could help me out or direct me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Hi Dawn,

Thanks so much for your post. It's tough to say, but my educated guess is 89-029. This is compatible with your mortise lock, but I can't confirm if it'll fit where the old keeper installed. Look over our dimensions and let us know what you think.
