Missing latch cover

A home owner from Holland, Michigan says:
Eagle (now Andersen) Windows installed approximately in 2001. Window latch cover missing on left side. Mechanism intact, just missing cover. Dark brown color.

I'm sorry to say that I don't recognize this part. Would it be possible to see a clear picture of this lock assembly removed from the window?

Don't see how to totally remove latch mechanism from the window. Pictures below are from the opposite/outside (with the trim piece removed to expose the inner workings). Two pictures provided to show the different positions of the locking mechanism. Entire latch mechanism is not needed, all that is needed is the thumb latch cover piece that slips onto the "post" shown in the originally sent pictures.

The lever itself is rarely sold separately, unfortunately. We can only provide a complete set. The handle often has to fit in a very specific kind of base, so you can't just put anything in there. That said, look at our 38-205 and 38-208 to see if either of these match what you have now. I can't really make out yours from your photos but these seem to be the best options we have at this time.
