Missing lock

A home owner from Laurel Springs New Jersey says:
I'm in search for the missing mortise lock that fits in this door. The original lock dropped in the door panel. It's an older door but I don't know the make of it. I've been living in this home for 17 years and it is the original door. Is there any way you could help me identify the lock?

Casey from SWISCO responded:

Hello,

Take a look at our 82-218 mortise lock, which can easily fall inside the door when being replaced since it mounts inside of the door. Review the dimensions and see how the dimensions compare to the cutout and mounting holes in the door. Thanks for posting!
