Missing screw in sliding glass door handle.hex nut

Home Owner from Los Angeles
I have a sliding door from "Superior Windows and Doors", a company that apparently no longer exists. The latch for the sliding door has a screw that is tightened using a hex (Allen) wrench. The screw is very tiny, and when in place, it allows the latch to lock. The screw is missing. It is something like the width of a No. 2 or smaller screw, and probably only a 1/4" long. It has no head, but is tightened by an allen wrench. Can you assist?

Thanks for posting! I cannot guarantee that we would be able to provide you with a screw to repair you door but we may have another solution. I'll need to see a photo of the hardware you are looking to repair to determine if there is an replacement we can recommended and what that might be.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions you might have.

Thanks. Here is the hole where the headless screw goes. Screw is tightened with Allen wrench.

Thanks for the photo. It appears you are looking for a set screw. Unfortunately, we would not be able to supply you with a replacement for the one you're missing or a compatible replacement for the handle set.

You may have some luck purchasing a set screw at a local hardware store or at on online retailer, like us, but I cannot make any guarantees.

I'm sorry that we could not be of more help with this repair!
