Mortice lock

Home Owner from USA
Hello, I'm looking for replace mortice locks, and I have a question. The two I'm looking at are 82-218 and 82-243 (mine are 3-11/16 centers) . However I seem to have a faceplate on my current one and am unsure yours come with one, or this one comes off. Pic attached. All the video I've found showing the install places the mortice in the door, whereas my door (wooden) is almost flush with the

The door handle is from an Eagle 2260 if that helps.

Any further clarification needed, please let me know.

Thanks!

Thanks for contacting SWISCO. I agree, the 82-218 or its stainless steel equivalent, the 82-243, looks promising. You should be able to remove the face plate on your old lock and replace onto the new part. Let us know what you think.

All the adjustment screw won the 82-218 does is allow the hook to stick out a little further, or retract further back into the housing. This is done by simply turning it.
