Mortice lock, Pozzi glass sliding door, 1983

My best guess is the spring mechanism in this sliding glass door mortice lock is shot. I'm wondering if one of your mortice locks will work as a good replacement. Thanks.

It definitely sounds like you need a new mortise lock. Based on the design of your original, my recommendation would be the 82-226. Look it over and let me know if you agree!

Tom,
The dimensions seem right but the outer plate (6 1/8 x 3/4) and mortice lock itself are two pieces on the one I have rather than the one piece pictured for the 82-226. I'm thinking that it will still work. Do you agree?
Thanks,
Jeff

Our 82-226 is also two pieces. If you wanted to just reuse your original face plate then you could always just purchase our 82-218. It's ultimately up to you!
