I have a 15 year old sliding glass door with a faulty mortise. The locking mechanism is on the inside only and has no external unlocking feature.
It appears to be your model 82-211. The dimensions are: screw holes 3 7/8" apart; depth 1 1/4"; and width 3/4". The latching mechanism has become so loose that when you open the door and step outside, just a little vibration will cause the latch to re-engage which then results in being locked out.
Do you have one of these available?
I could buy a locking door mechanism but do not really want to do this.
Thank you.

I'm afraid I don't understand your question. Are yo looking for an external key lock? If so, that has more to do with the handle than the mortise. We have a ton of options compatible with the 82-211 but I don't know will work for your handle. Can you show me a picture of your handle set so that I can find something to work with it?

I am specifically looking JUST for the 82-211 mortise. That is the item that has failed.
Do you have one? If so, what would it cost for me to buy it and have it shipped to me?
Thank you.

Sorry for misunderstanding. Yes, we sell the 82-211. You can see detailed pricing information on its store page, which is also where you can place your order.
