Mortise Latch Replacement for DFA Larson storm door

A quick learner from Manassas, VA says:

The website listing for 40-212, the Larson Classic-Elegance Security Storm Door Handle Set, states that the mortise latch is sold separately but doesn't state what the part number for that part is. I am trying to replace the mortise latch on a 10+ year old Larson DFA security storm door (DFA is stamped on the mortise latch cover plate on the edge of the door latch) with the feature set depicted in the 40-212 images (oblong deadbolt assembly, similar to what you show on the Pella mortise latch 40-194). The backset is 7/8" and distance between upper and lower screw holes is 6-15/16" to 7". See image file attached. Also, Please note the distinctly different shape of the deadbolt lock on this door.

Do you carry the replacement mortise latch separately from the door handle hardware (all of which functions fine)?

 Respectfully,Steve

Maybe I can help! Looking at your latch, it does appear that the 40-194 is the one you are looking for. I checked our dimensions, and they are accurate. I recommend triple checking your measurements to make sure they match up to our hardware. Let me know what you think.

A home owner from Fairfax, Virginia says:

I have a storm door lock exactly liked Steve below photo, everything is workingfine but I lost the keys, how I can duplicate the keys. Thanks so much. Please advise.

Best regards,

Quang

I'm afraid that we don't sell spare keys for this lockset. I recommend contacting a local locksmith for assistance. I apologize for any inconvenience.
