Mortise Lock for Sliding door

Hello,

The Mortise lock for our sliding door stopped working, when we went to remove it to take to hardware store it fell into the door. Do you know what type of mortise lock we need to order? We cannot locate brand name on door.

Thanks for posting. Without seeing the original mortise lock I cannot say for sure what you need--however this problem often occurs with the 82-218 Mortise Lock. Look over the dimensions and see if you think it would fit your door.
