I have the same mortise and recently posted. It has 4 inches between holes and the suggested mortise has over 5 inches so would not work unfortunately.

I agree with your assessment. Looking at the above photos, I think our 82-244 might be a better option for this application. I'll share its dimensions below for you to review.

Thanks, Tom. Is there a matching handle that would work with that mortise? I need to replace all of my hardware.

The 82-244 is compatible with an absolute ton of different handle sizes. Our 82-030 is a common pairing but far from the only option, and there's no guarantee it'll work on your door.

I would be in a better position to make a recommendation if I could see your old handle, but for now our 82-030 is a good place to start. We have detailed information on its store page that you can use as a reference so as to make an informed judgment call.
