Mortise lock American craftsman patio door 50 series

Question

Have a 50 series american craftsman patio door. The lock seems to not work. I'm thinking about taking it apart and I think its the mortis lock, will this be a good replacment ?

I'm afraid I cannot verify whether our 82-218 will work for you or not. The only way to do that is to compare its dimensions and design to your original. I would start there. If they differ in any way, please upload a photo of your mortise here for me to review.
