Mortise lock fell in the door

Question

Hi there...our mortise lock has been dropped down in the door by an older tenant, an were not sure which one to purchase..I have the 82086 handle to put on, as I have the gold handle on one side, and so far all the measurements are the same from old handle to the newer model,other broke off recently..not sure of mortise size to purchase,if you could help please?, thanks!

Hello! If your mortise fell into your door, then odds are you have our 82-218. I am very confident that this is what you want but you may want to go over our dimensions to be sure. The video below may also be helpful.
