82-218 is a little too big for my door

I unfortunately dropped the old lock inside the door frame while removing it, so I am not sure how the old lock looks like. Please help me find the correct lock. I already ordered 82-218 lock but its litter wider and bigger.

I'm afraid that the 82-218 is the best option we have for you. I think this may be exactly what you want, actually; they're made to be a little tight. While it may seem too big at first, you have to install it at a bit of an angle so that it can fit. The video below will show you what I mean.

You know what, I was going to return it but after I saw your message I tried and inserted the lock at an angle, it worked!!!! Great?thanks a lot, really appreciate your help.
