Mortise lock for sliding patio door

Home Owner from Fort Mill, SC
I cannot find any markings on this mortise lock installed into my sliding patio door. The metal hook that locks the door to the wall does not work using the lever (I think a spring is broken on the inside).

I don't want to take the mortise lock out until I have a new replacement. I thought your part no. 82-218 seemed to fit my measurements.

Can you confirm the following measurements to agree with your 82-218?

The large oval opening in the door is 6" high as is the entire chrome fixture; the width of the chrome fixture is 13/16". The width of the door is 1-5/8". The opening inside the chrome fixture which allows the metal hook to move up/down measures 1-9/16" high.

There are 3 screws above the opening for this metal hook, and 2 screws below this opening. I measured center of each screw for the following: the distance from the most top and bottom screws is 4-1/2". The distance from the second top and second bottom screws is 3-5/8". The third screw from the top is 1-3/4" down and looks to be the one screw to hold the metal hook in place.

I have watched your video for part 82-218, and I think I can replace the existing lock if I have the proper replacement. Do you agree with my measurements for 82-218? (I don't know "round" from "square".)

I agree, the 82-218 may work for you. If you wanted to replace the faceplate, as well, I would consider our 82-226.
