Mortise lock set for 82-086

Question

The one I have currently has the latch lever hole in the center and a hole pattern of 3 7/8" will this handle work for this mortise latch

Thanks for reaching out. Given the measurements you've provided for the installation holes, I believe you may how our 82-218. This mortise lock has installation hole measurements of 3-11/16". Look over the dimensions to confirm that this is the right replacement. If it is not a match, I'll need to see a photo of your existing hardware to confirm the right replacement.
