Mortise lock to large for opening

Question

I've purchased 3 different mortise locks for my slider and they all measure 3 3/16 for the part that goes into the door.  My door opening for that part of the mortise is only 3 1/16 or maybe 3 2/16.  Do they sell this anywhere or am I going to have to get as new slider altogether?

Thanks for posting. We will do our best to help but we need more of a reference. Our 82-081 is compatible with a few different mortises but the only one that comes close to your dimensions are 82-269. That's just an educated guess. Ultimately, we'll need to see pictures of the handle set that interacts with this mortise and pictures of the spot in the door where your mortise would install.
