Mounting options for patio door foot locks

I've ordered two foot locks one for older patio door it talks about mounting on floor can I mount on top. I also have a screen door On my camping Trailer want to mount on screen door any thoughts.

I'm not sure how well a foot lock will work at the top. They're meant to be stepped on to lock. If you were to start from scratch, I'd recommend something like our 80-008 or 80-027 .

I'm also not sure what your question is concerning your screen door. Can you specify?
