Thanks for posting. See the video below that details how to replace these discontinued GU Casement Operators with our Truth Dyad Operators. Take a look and see what you think.

A home owner from Willoughby, Ohio says:

I have a casement window with a G-U opener which is no longer functioning. I am sending pictures of the window and mechanism. The window size is approximately 31 x 33. Please let me know if you have an opener that would replace the G-U. If you will need measurements of the current arms just let me know.

Hi, Peter. Did you read the previous posts in this thread by any chance? My colleague Bob posted a video that shows you exactly what operator replaces yours and how it can be done. I highly recommend watching it if you haven't already.

A home owner from Willoughby, Ohio says:

Thank you Tom for your response to my questions. Yes, I did view the video and it was quit informative. I still have a concern about needing the 39-514 stud bracket. In my series of photos I purposely included a photo of the bracket on the window. I am not sure if I need to order one or not. Will you please look at the photo and let me know your opinion. Other wise, what I see in the video is the same as my window problem.

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Reviewing your photos, your brackets seem to be in good condition. I see no reason why you can't reuse them. If you do find that any have broken, though, then you can always order our 39-513 and 39-514.
