My existing hardware was missing I belive it just the window latches

Quick Learner
Hello I have a tenant with tracco windows and his top Paine is sliding all the way down when unlocking the window. I noticed it's missing latches. I'm not sure if it would be missing anything else too. Thank you

Hello,

We'd be happy to help but it looks like the window uses internal tilt latches, which we would need to see uninstalled to confirm if we can supply a possible replacement. If it is just the actuator that is broken, we would need to see an undamaged one uninstalled to compare the installation peg measurements to our selection here

With that being said, you mentioned that the sash will not stay up. A broken tilt latch would not cause that but it looks like the window has spiral balances, which are partially visible in your photos. These are the parts that are responsible for supporting the weight of the window. We should be able to supply replacements but we would need to see one of the original balances uninstalled, including the end of the spiral and the colored tip at the base of the tube. We would also need to confirm the exact length and diameter of the housing tube. Thank you!
