My hinges are rusted, can 36048 work?

I need two (2) Truth #40987 replacement hardware/ hinges in 13" length. These are left hinge windows that crank out. The cranks work fine. It is the hinge pivot on the window that has some kind of sliding piece which appears to be rusted. I bought the Swisco #36048 in the 10" length. Not sure if that even works as a replacement, let alone if the number designation matches up with the left hinge. Can someone please advise?

Hey there,

Thanks for writing in! Since we do not carry a 13" operator, we typically suggest using the 36-049 2-Bar Hinge Set. The 36-048 could potentially work as a suitable replacement; however, you may experience that the window does not open as far as it did previously.

Keep in mind, you will need to replace both the top and bottom operator, as yours likely won't match the existing set and you may be required to drill new installation holes.

These operator sets can be used for the left and right side of the window.
