My lock fell into my door

A home owner from Rochester, NY says:
I need the handles or at least the mortise lock. When I took the handles off, the lock fell down the door.
Thank you.

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:

You're not the first person to lose their mortise lock in your door. Odds are it was the 82-218; this is the only mortise I know of that has this problem. I also recommend watching the installation video below. You'll see how we install these without the risk of it falling into the frame.

Your handle may still be in good condition, so it may not need to be replaced. If it does, however, see our 82-086.
