My operator screws differ from 39-264

The photo shows my existing operator has three screws aligned with the geared pivot point plus two more screws on a smaller centerline toward the external side of the window. All replacement operators I see have a different mounting screw arrangement with two unaligned mounting screws with smaller centerline toward the inside of the window, a central pivot screw and then two more srewes toward the outside of the window on a large centerline. Hope this is understandable.

Hey there, maybe I can be of some help. I think the issue here is that you could have an Andersen window manufactured before 1999. Check the corner of the glass in the window to see if there is a date etched into the glass.
If your window was made between 1995 to 1998, then you will need to use the 39-362 adapter plate to go with the 39-264 operator. That way it can mount to your window normally.
