I'm looking for a video or instruction on how to remove the existing springs so I can order replacements. Also need help identifying this style of spring. Thanks so much. Oliver

This is a bit confusing. It appears you have a non-tilt window, is that correct? Yet a non-tilt channel balance should have a top attachment or fitting, which is missing from yours. See the video below that might help you with the removal process. Once we see the balance removed, we should have a better idea of what your replacement options would be.
