Thanks for posting. Please see our S795-27 to start out. Just make sure everything matches, including the length of the metal channel and the width of the bottom shoe (1-1/4").

Metal to metal this balance measures 28" but it stamped 27 D 40. What stamp option should I choose.

Ah, I see. That would depend on the weight of your sash. I recommend weighing it on a scale and referring to the chart we have on the S795-28 store page.
