NOT SURE WHAT SIZE CHANNEL BALANCE TO ORDER

Question

I HAVE A CUSTOMER WITH A MILGARD SINGLE HUNG VINYL WINDOW THAT IS MISSING THE BALANCES AND I NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT SIZE TO ORDER. THE WINDOW IS 24" X 54". THE VENT PANEL MEASURES 21 5/8" X 26 1/8"

Hey, Dan. This will be a tough one. Does your customer have another window in the same size that might still have its balances? If not, my educated guess would be our S385-25 channel balance with a 2420 option, which can support a sash weight of 9 through 15 pounds. Again, though, this is just an educated guess. Without seeing what you originally had, there's n o way to know for sure.
