I have 2 identical windows - will need 4 balancers

Thanks for posting. Start by looking at our S385-30 channel balance. I think this could work for you. Your original is stamped 29 5, which matches our 2950 option. This is for sashes weighing 28 through 32 pounds. However, you say that your sash weighs 25 pounds. I would double check. If it is 25 pounds, go with the 2940 option instead.

The windows are 27.6 pounds. They are hard to open because they are so heavy. I think the spring tension is critical so I am asking for your advice as to which one to order. We would like the windows to be easier to open.

In that case, because your original is stamped 29 5, which matches our 2950 option, and this will carry a window sash weight of 28 through 32 pounds, sounds right on!
