After looking at the 385 and 380 channel balances I though these photos would be needed to determine what balance I need. Thanks. Ed

I agree, you have either the Series 380 or Series 385. The only difference between them is the depth of the shoe; yours looks like it's over 1" in depth, which lends itself to the Series 385 Series 380, but it's always a good idea to triple check to be sure.

A home owner from FL says:
It looks like the shoe is only 1" when I measured it with the orange ruler. Am I measuring the right spot ?? Thanks

Tom from SWISCO responded:

First of all, I have to apologize. I made a typo in my last response indicating the Series 385 being the proper replacement for a 1" shoe, which is inaccurate. I had meant to type Series 380, which is correct. Sorry about that!

Secondly, yes: the picture you show with the orange ruler is the depth. As long as that is 1" then the Series 380 is a winner.

A home owner from FL says:

Unfortunately I ordered the 380 but they cause the windows to move on the tract. The exact measurement of 380 shoe is a little shy of 1". What can I do to get the correct 385 pieces? I have attached a photo of the difference in what I have as what I received and the movement in the window.

Order number 1806165

The S377-30 is for my neighbor.

Thanks.

Ed

You can return the Series 380 you purchased for a refund; see our return policy here. You can then place an order for the Series 385 at your convenience the same way as you did before.
