Need 1/4" pin for slot

Question

I have some bifold metal doors that I need to get new slider pins for the track. The one that came with the door have a 7/16" top. I need pins that will fit into the track I already have which is a 1/4" slot.
Would the 21-024 work for me?
The photo us what I currently have.
Can I just change the top on my pin to a smaller size? I have 4 doors to do.

Hello,

The part in your photo resembles the 21-022, which has the 7/16" pin cap that your door came with and is commonly used with the 1/4" diameter 21-203 pivot cap. Take a look and see what you think.
