I need to replace 2 - 29" spiral balances and the corresponding pivot shoes to be safe. These are approximately 30 years old. The weight designation for the "red" tip balances is what I surmised from another similar window given these didn't have any plastic tips remaining. Are there any other parts I should order?
I ended on the Series 900 when I shopped for the 3/8" balance, but wanted to be sure.

I agree that the S900-29 spiral balances are what you need as long as yours have the same 3/8" diameter housing tube. There is a chart on the product page that explains how to choose your color option based on the sash weight.
You can reuse the pivot shoes if they are still in good condition. If not, we'll need to see yours uninstalled, as well as have you write out the exact width and thickness to compare to our inventory. Thank you!
