Need Assistance

When I turn this handle to lock/unlock, there is a metal pin that rotates with the lock/unlock position of the handle. The pin then sits inside the recessed catch slot on the top frame of the window when locked, what part do I need?

I'm afraid I don't know what part you need. I'm struggling to understand the process you described. I don't see a pin in this photo. Would it be possible to see it? Seeing the lock removed from the window entirely would be the most helpful at this stage.

For now, our 38-064 appears to resemble your design closely, but there is no pin involved in its operation, which is why I would hesitate to recommend it.

Hi Tom, thanks for responding. Does this help?

This is a huge help, thank you! I get it now. So we do have one lock that works under the same principles: see our 38-093L, as well as the 38-093R for the opposite side. This is a good place to start, but we're not done yet. You will need to compare all dimensions as listed below to verify that it matches.

They made a lot of these "pin" style locks, and the 38-093L just happens to be the only one we currently carry. You'll also note that it's not available in white. Before I can look into other sizes or color options, I want to be sure about what sizes we're working with. Please review these dimensions and let me know if they differ in any way; and if so, exactly how.

Please note that we need written dimensions. A photo of a tape measure will unfortunately not be sufficient for our purposes.
