Need Balance for Old House

Quick Learner from USA
What else do I need to purchase for my spring loaded 5/8 red tipped balance? Attachments, tools, etc.

No tilt. They are old historical windows
Every part of the old balance was trashed

31 inch 5/8 tube. Old ones had a spiral spring and flaps that nailed into the bottoms of the window

Photo is window weight

I don't see anything in the photos that is obvious to me on how to mount them to the window

Thank you for your help

This is the henged bracket that I was referring to in the conversation. It sits in a morticed groove at the bottom of the sash. This one's tip was broken but I believe it had a screw opening at the end.
My question is with the apparatus you sell are there additional parts that need to be purchased in order to mount them to the window. Parts that serve the same function as this end piece.
Thank you for your time.

Hello,

Thanks for writing in! Your spiral balance can be replaced with the S500-32, given that you've confirmed it has a 31-5/8" length.

Its a bit difficult to determine the weight of the sash from the photo provided. Since it appears to be close to 20lbs, you can use either the red tip or the blue tip option. The weight ranges each option can support can be found on below the product description of the balance on the website.

To replace the bracket attached to the bottom of the balance, you can use the 17-012 Bracket #32, like the one on your existing balance it screws onto the bottom of the sash.
