Need BiFold Pin
The track width can accommodate a pinhead of about 5/8 inch in diameter.
The height of the wheel that is on the other door is about 1/2 inch.
Looks like I am also missing the plate that anchors the post and wheel.
A photo is attached.
Any assistance you can give me is greatly appreciated!
I can't send any photos that would be more informative than I have already sent.
I tried to undo the functional door pin but I see there is no give.
I think the pin was just driven into the wooden door.
So to summarize, this looks like a hack job.
The hole on top of the non-functional door is
Based on what I CAN see, I will opt for one of each of the following model numbers:
Product Code: 21-042
Product Code: 21-044
Product Code: 21-054
Also interested in a plate for the top of the door that would serve as the anchor.
The wooden door is 1 1/4 Inch wide on top.
The hole on the top of the door is 3/8" wide.
There is no "anchor plate" on the non-functional door which might be why the parts came loose and are missing.
Hello,
We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need to see photos of your bifold door pins uninstalled, along with dimensions specified in our guide here to determine what might work for you. The 23-266 pivot guide would be a good place to start depending on how the measurements below compare to yours. I can tell you that the parts you picked out are for metal bifold doors, while yours are wood, which generally uses different hardware.
We'll also need to see a clear, close-up photo of the track bracket that the bifold caps engage with to determine if replacement tracks or brackets are still available. See the guides related on this page to help you through the removal process. Thank you!
