Need New Window Tilt Latch

A home owner from Round Rock, Texas says:

This latch broke and I need a new one. It came off a PlyGem window from a ten year old house. There was only one sticker I could find in the window frame, which where I could make out the name PlyGem. Not sure if that helps at all.

Start by comparing your dimensions to our 26-243 and 26-244 to see if these match up to your original latch.

Thanks for the message. I need the left side, so in this case it would be 26-243 and it appears to be a pretty close fit.

What are the next steps? Are there other options? If not, I'd like to go a head and order 26-243 and give it a try.

How exactly do your dimensions differ from ours? We'd be happy to find something closer. Just eyeballing it, your latch looks like it may be on the skinnier side. With that in mind, see our 26-390 left handed latch. Review our dimensions and let me know if this is a better match.

Mine is 2 5/8 long, so the 26-243 would match up better. The 26-390 is too long. Let's go with 26-243 Left Hand and see how that works out. Unless you have other suggestions.

It's hard to say without knowing the exact dimensions of your latch but please see our 26-471 . In terms of design, this looks very close to what you have but compare the dimensions and see what you think.
