Need Replacement Window Flat Channel Inverted B&T Sash Balance

Handy Person from Milton, Delaware
The pin broke that holds the tilt lock on my flat channel inverted B&T sash balance part. The part is 30" long and the other sides are 1/2" each, and it's stamped with "308" and "JBSI" and the capital J is very small. The window has no name brand on it that I could find and is 33" x 64" probably original to the house when built in 2005. The pivot lock shoe and sash cord pulley appear to be fine.

Can you find me a replacement? I just need 1. I've looked many places and on one has it in stock.

Thanks for writing in! I am confident we can supply you with the replacement balances you need but I'll need a few more details to confirm the exact replacement. To start, I'll need to see a photo of the top and bottom attachments from an undamaged balance.

Unfortunately, the photos provided do not give enough detail regarding the exact replacements you need.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions you might have in the meantime.

The numbers stamped are "30B" then "JBSL" but that last letter could be an "I".

Thanks for your assistance!

Thanks for the additional photos. Although, I cannot use them to identify the balances you need. The photos are still missing the attachments that would be installed on the bottom of the channel.

Are there any similar windows that still have an undamaged balance installed?

Do these photos of the shoe with measurement help?

Thanks for the photo. Your balance can be replaced with the S795-30 Channel Balance. You'll need to select the 30B Stamp.

The shoe you have is the 15-195B 1-1/4" T-Lock Shoe with an open cam. This shoe is sold separately from the balance so you'll need to be sure to add them to your online cart along with the balances. They are fairly easy to swap out with the shoes the come installed on the balance.
